DRDO has sponsored DMI Engineering college to organise a seminar on "Rocket propollent Technology" during 5 & 6 March 2010.30 participants from different Engineering colleges have attended this seminar.

* Paperless office has been implemented in this campus through EMS software.Library is fully automated. Attendance, Exam Management, E-mail to parents and Students thro EMS Software

GOLD MEDAL FOR SPORTS:

* Mary Indira from first year civil have won Gold medal for the fencing competition held at Anna University Tirunelveli.

PAPER PRESENTATION:

*DMIEC have organised a national level paper presentation for diploma holders. Hemal Abemen & Co, Lenish & Co, Diana & co and Anne & co have participated the paper presentation held at other Engineering Colleges
