Research and Development initiatives forms important part of our future road map and DMI has envisioned itself to be become a well known name in research and development activities. Research and development activities are encouraged at both departmental and institute level.

    Sponsored Projects & Programme :

The research center with inputs from industry and funding agencies would develop the vision of research. The research projects from R& D has been sent to
        • Department of Science and Technology, Ministry of Science and Technology, Govt of India, New Delhi.
      • Fast Track Proposals for Young Scientists Scheme of DST, India. Efforts has been taken for external research funding for Organizing/Sponsor conferences/seminars and workshops on current topics with different organization like DRDO, CSIR, DST.

    Academic Research :

Post graduate programs have been started in all the departments of the college, which have given further impetus to the research activities in the college. Students do their thesis work and are encouraged to publish their work in leading journals and conference proceedings. Large number of faculty members is also doing their doctorate, thereby contributing to the research pool.
